In 1993, in the Sierra Mazatec of Oaxaca<\/strong>founder John Richard Asbury<\/strong><\/em>along with the German researcher Rainer Hubatsch<\/strong><\/em>came to the region mazatec with the purpose of learning about natural medicines and traditional. During your stay, you learned about the medicinal use of different plants, fungi, and rituals.<\/strong> What caused the greatest interest was the use of medicinal mushrooms in this region. With time and extensive study of various books on research of fungi, they discovered that in this region they occur naturally, some species of fungi with medicinal properties. This was the beginning of what would be the future of Hongomex<\/strong>. In 1995, we started with the production of mushrooms Oyster (pleurotus ostreatus)<\/em> for the local market and food source for the community of Hongomex.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The cultivation process was amazing, which gave start to grow more species of medicinal mushrooms as a Queue turkey (Trametes Versicolor)<\/em>, Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum), Shiitake (Lentinula Edodes) and Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus)<\/em>. The same year he created the first product of medicinal fungi, a mixture of dried mushrooms and crushed to prepare in the form of tea. The tea was successful, and this led to the formulation of liquid extracts alcohol-based (Tinctures) in 1997<\/em>, giving start to form Hongomex.<\/strong> Eventually, in 2003 we implemented the capsules, which have become the most popular and practice of consuming these adaptogens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Us Hongomex<\/strong> we believe that it is extremely important to make an effort to preserve the culture, the wisdom and ancestral knowledge. It is the responsibility of all, as human beings, to preserve the knowledge of our roots, as well as awareness of our health and well-being-physical, mental and emotional.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Also, we are guided under the idea that doing good things, we attract good things. This is the reason why our vision and purpose is to provide natural products and medicinal high quality.<\/span><\/p>

Now we are the second generation to continue with the vision and the purpose of Hongomex<\/strong>promoting the awareness and the health of the human being. We hope that our children and most people are part of the third generation, creating a positive change in the way they think, live and act in regard to our health and our planet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
